Rebates

Lee Lake Water District offers rebates on a variety of water saving fixtures and appliances for your home. These financial incentives are for qualifying water customers electing to replace non-conserving devices with more water efficient technologies. So whether you upgrade inside or outside your home, Lee Lake’s got a deal for you!

Weather Based Irrigation Controller (WBIC) Incentives

Irrigation controllers that automatically adjust watering schedules and run times with changing weather conditions may sound like science fiction. Well, it is science, but it’s not fiction and they are available at reasonable prices for any home landscape. If you purchase a qualifying WBIC, Lee Lake will credit your water bill $80.

Be sure to review the general program guidelines listed on the rebate application.

High Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate Program

Lee Lake Water District is offering a $100.00 rebate for customers replacing an older, high-volume clothes washer with a new, high efficiency model. Since the high efficiency models are more expensive than conventional washing machines, rebates will be provided to customers who purchase/install a new washer after January 1, 2007 and who complete and submit an application form with accompanying ORIGINAL RECEIPT. Only one rebate will be provided per household.

Advantages of a high-efficiency washer are:

  • Saves up to 15 gallons of water or more per load.
  • Saves up to 60% on electrical energy/cost.
  • Saves on natural gas because the HECW models spin clothes dryer.

Ultra Low Flush Toilets and Urinals Rebate Program

Replace your old fixtures!!!

Ultra Low Flush Toilet (ULFT) and Urinal fixtures use 20,000 gallons LESS water annually than older models. By replacing your toilets and urinals, you will save more then $75.00 per year, per fixture in water and sewage costs. An average family of four can save more than 13,000 gallons of water per year by making the switch.

The 1.6 gallon toilets function as well or better than the older, water guzzling toilets, which use 3.5 to 7 gallons per flush. Ultra Low Flush Urinal fixtures use 1 gallon of water per flush (or less).

Many times, the rebate covers the retrofit of the entire fixture and includes either the tank or the flush valve hardware.

Over 1 million Ultra Low Flush Toilets have been retrofitted to date in Los Angeles. That’s more than fourteen million gallons of water saved in just one year! Ultra Low Flush Toilets and Urinals are making a significant difference in water usage, water bills and our environment.

Stop paying 2 to 5 times more in water and sewage cost for the same functionality.

It’s easy to participate. 1-877-728-2282
